About Low Maintenance
Kaitlin Kostus (b. 1984) is an artist, illustrator, and self-publisher from Chicago,
IL. She received her BFA in Painting from the University of
Illinois-Chicago in 2006, and her MFA in Interdisciplinary Book and
Paper Art at Columbia College Chicago in 2012.
Low Maintenance Publications is her publishing imprint for her own zines and collaborative zines.
